TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Service: By using the parking facilities at Park ABZ Ltd (hereinafter 'parkABZ', 'we', 'us', 'our') you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment: We accept vehicle parking only for passengers travelling through Aberdeen International Airport; all bookings must be made online before arrival at parkABZ; we do not accept 'drive in' bookings; our parking rate is £2 per day; 'per day' means per 24 hours or part thereof starting at 00:00 and ending at 23:59; our parking charges must be paid in advance; the only acceptable forms of payment are credit/debit cards transacted via our online payment processors; any booking not paid during the online booking process will be automatically cancelled and you will be asked to rebook.

3. Cancellation: Bookings are 100% refunded if notice of cancellation is given prior to the scheduled entry day; no arrival by 23:59 on your day of scheduled arrival will be deemed a 'no show' and your booking will be cancelled with no refund; prior to your arrival we may contact you and failure to respond to our query within 24 hours will result in automatic booking cancellation and a 100% refund; we reserve the right to cancel your booking without prior notice for any reason with any such cancellation receiving a refund of 100%; we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential costs incurred for alternative parking or other arrangements should such a course of action be required; refunds may take up to 10 working days to be processed back to the payment account.

4. Vehicle Drop Off: Vehicles are accepted into our site 24 hours a day; you will open the gate to access the site using the combination padlock for which we will supply the code; once parked you keep your keys and you will close the gate and lock the padlock by scrambling the code combination; advisory information signage will be posted on or near the entry gate; for live assistance our phone +447378100400 is available 08:00 to 21:00.

5. Early Collection: Vehicle collection is available 24 hours a day; you will open the gate to access the site using the combination padlock for which we will supply the code; once exited you will close the gate and lock the padlock by scrambling the code combination; advisory information signage will be posted on or near the entry gate; for live assistance our phone +447378100400 is available 08:00 to 21:00; we will refund any unused parking if your vehicle is uplifted prior to your scheduled exit day.

6. Late Collection:  Any vehicle not collected by 23:59 on the day of scheduled exit will result in overstay charges being payable at the rate of £2 per day or part thereof starting at 00:00; this will be billed by email; any vehicle remaining unclaimed 7 days after the scheduled exit time will initiate two final written attempts by us on days 7 and 10 of overstay to contact the booking party to pay overstay fees and uplift the vehicle; any vehicle that is not uplifted 28 days after the scheduled collection time will become lien property of parkABZ.

7. Airport Transfers: Passenger transfers to and from the airport are not included in our parking fees; transfer taxis are not organised by or provided by us; the organising of departure and arrival taxis is performed by you by calling our suggested partner or arranging an alternative of your own choice; between 04:00 and 18:00 we recommend calling for a taxi at least 20 minutes before pick up; for a taxi between 18:00 and 04:00 we recommend calling at least 60 minutes before pickup and if possible call to book before boarding your return flight; taxi availability and service is outwith our control and may be affected by factors of road traffic, bad weather, time of day, etc; we have partnered with third party entity 'Rainbow City Taxis' on +441224878787 to offer you the transfer service but you may use any other company at your own discretion; customers are welcome to use us for parking only and make their own transfer arrangements taxi or otherwise; our estimates of taxi costs use fares set by Aberdeen City Council; should additional taxi, airport or any other charges occur due to customer action or inaction any such fees incurred must be paid by the customer.

8. Vehicle Size: Any vehicle domestic or commercial in excess of 6.0m length requires a double space; additional fees at the £2 daily parking rate apply; if any oversize vehicle is noted on site but undeclared you will be emailed for payment of a second space at £2 per day for the duration of your booking.

9. Inconsiderate/Unauthorised Parking: Any vehicle that is parked inconsiderately or incorrectly may if deemed necessary by us be moved by towing or lifting; any vehicle found on site that has not pre-paid for parking will be wheel clamped and released only after payment of our £2 daily parking fees for the duration on site plus an additional administration fee of £75.

10. Lost Bookings: If you lose or cannot access your booking receipt you may be required to provide us with personal photo identification to confirm your booking and/or identity before the acceptance of or release of any vehicle is authorised by us.

11. Vehicle or Contents Damage: We are not responsible for or liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents while in our facilities, parked or otherwise; if your vehicle suffers any alleged damage or discrepancy while it is within our facilities for reference purposes you must report it by SMS to +447378100400 or by email to hello@parkabz.com prior to the vehicle exiting our site gate; otherwise no correspondence of any alleged issue will be entered into by us.

12. Road Access: Our site is accessed by a shared private road; should access to our site become impossible due to weather, flooding, accident, roadworks or for any other reason your booking will be cancelled and refunded in full; we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential costs incurred for alternative parking or other arrangements should such a course of action be required.

13. Security: Our site and its contents are monitored 24/7 by a combination of staff, CCTV recording, alarm systems and external security patrols; our staff are typically on site daily but are not present 24/7; we will take all reasonable precautions to keep your vehicle and its contents safe; however we are not responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents while it is within our facilities, parked or otherwise.

14. Changes to Terms & Conditions: We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice; your continued use of parkABZ facilities constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these Terms & Conditions.

15. Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our parking facilities or use of our recommended airport transfer partner or use of any other airport transfer service  arranged independently by you.

16. Third Party Websites: Our website contains links to other external websites; we are not responsible for the operation, content, security or privacy of any third party websites.

17. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

PRIVACY POLICY

(a) Overview: We are committed to protecting the privacy of our website users, in this Privacy Policy we set out how we will deal with your personal details; any information collected and stored will be of the following kind: your visits and use of our website, information provided for the use of registering and/or subscribing to our website service and information provided for the business purposes, quotes, analysis, etc.

(b) Website Visits: We may collect information about your visits to our website such as IP address, location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views; this information may be used to improve our website usability and for marketing purposes; cookies are used on this website, this enables the web server to identify and track the web browser; we may send a cookie which may be stored by your computer/device; the information we obtain from the cookie could be used to improve the website usability and for marketing purposes; we may also use that information to recognise your computer/device when you visit our website, and to personalise our website for you.

(c) Use of Personal Data: Personal data submitted on this website could be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or in any relevant parts of the website; in addition to the uses already identified we may use your personal information to improve your browsing experience by personalising the website; we will not provide any personal information to a third party unless you have given your express permission.

(d) Other Disclosures: In addition to disclosures already discussed we may need to disclose the following information: where a country’s legal system requires us to disclose your personal information in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings; in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk; except as provided in this Privacy Policy we will not provide your information to third parties.

(e) Security of Personal Data: We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information stored on our servers.

(f) Policy Amendments: We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version on our website; it is in your interest to check this page regularly to ensure you are comfortable with any changes made.

(g) Third Party Websites: Our website contains links to other external websites; we are not responsible for the data policies of any third party websites.

(h) Your Rights: You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you; you can by email request us not to use any of your personal details.

These Terms & Conditions together with this Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our services or website and supersedes all previous agreements in respect of your use of our services or website; by confirming your booking by making payment you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy; this page last updated at 17:00 on 1 November 2024 and is applicable to bookings made after that time.
